This series depicts the area called "Zone des Dunes" near the Port of Calais where refugees live while waiting to reach Great Britain. This place is also commonly known as "The Jungle", an exotic name, simplified and over-quoted by the media, that derives from the Farsi word jangal meaning simply "forest". The pictures show their traces in the landscape such as passageways, discarded blankets and clothes, and shelters or their remains.
